The Business Growth Surgery concept
Peer to peer “M aster groups” are a proven powerful business tool. They centre on a group of like-minded business leaders applying their minds and experience to specific business problems and opportunities.
- Only 12 members at a time.
- Introductions (minimal as we all know each other).
- Progress on the actions from the previous meeting.
- “What new issues do we have”? Each person describes a problem or potential opportunity for which they need advice and new ways to proceed.
- The Group decides on the most pressing, 1 or 2 issues to discuss that week.
- Brainstorming – Gary will facilitate a structured process to create a new experiment for “featured” business owners to perform between meetings.
What do current members have to say?
Mark Russell (Partner Knight James) "Having now attended four sessions of Gary Coulton's Business Growth Surgery we have covered a multitude of topics and just thought I would illustrate what's happened so far. It has exceeded my expectations in that the collective knowledge around the table - carefully guided by Gary has had a profound effect on the members and their approach to their business, what drives them and it is providing practical solutions to issues that they may have. There is a lot of self-reflection and self-awareness and a strong model for a 'strategic vision' that can be applied to any business. So far so good, I would recommend it to any business organisation - whatever the size."
Giovanni Barreca (BoilerPro)
“Being a business owner is a tough gig. Often you feel lonely, overwhelmed & frazzled. It’s all up to you, and you alone, to ensure you make good decisions, take good actions, respond to business challenges and be infallible along the way!
Solopreneurs, and entrepreneurs are often left with only one perspective on running their business(es). This makes it hard to be absolutely sure that your management of said business is well rounded and sound.
Working with Gary Coulton and my trusted peers at the Business Growth Surgery (BGS group), I have been able to bring problems and ideas to the table, and work through them together.
In the past 12 months, my business and I have progressed so much. I have managed to make better decisions, eliminate problems in my business earlier, as well as gain lots of new tools to help me box more-cleverly, in what is a highly competitive marketplace.
Imagine having a highly credible Business Coach, and many experienced Business Owners at your boardroom table when you need them? It’s exactly what I have developed within the BGS and working with Gary, in order to build a solid foundation on which to build my business empire.”
I could not recommend Gary and his Business Growth Group, more!
Bob Harvey-Jenner – Life Through a Lense
“The Group have helped me develop different business streams I had not seen before and assisted me greatly in pitching what I do.”
Christine Hale – Christine Hale Style
“The guidance from Gary, the discussions and open forum at BGS, has enabled me to confront and understand the blocks that were stopping my business expanding. The collective thinking from the group helps massively when you work on your own. Thank you for adding a new dynamic to the strategic planning for my business".
